my experiance with getting my education would be a struggle without metro. Love their staff. Love their coffee. When I think of my time in school it begins with the routine cup of coffee. Ultimately my most favorite place on campus!

This cafe is a critical component of the UW Tacoma community. It gives students and faculty a place to meet informally, and an irreplaceable part of the UW Tacoma culture that has been developed.

Metro Coffee helps to provide the sense of community that is such a valuable part of the UWT experience. It would be such a shame to lose that community atmosphere.

Steph and Metro Coffee have been there growing, right along side of the UWT campus. Metro was a staple of my diet and a stable place to get work done. Viva Metro.

Metro is an integral part of the local downtown Tacoma network. They exhibit so many local artists and carry Mad Hat tea from down the street. UW Tacoma will have a weaker connection with the community if Metro is forced to close.

I love Metro for many reasons! To start I love the service and atmosphere there.
I dislike corporate feeling places, so having Metro to turn to, to escape sterile feeling developments, is an important part of my routine. I also get to help to support a local business owner who supports other local businesses, which is important to me as a local consumer.
Last winter I was also able to show my art there and I am still very thankful for that opportunity.
Please keep Metro. Many people rely on it.

Steph is so caring and humble. Metro is a great coffee shop with a unique vibe in the city. I believe it is an essential part of what makes UWT.

I UW Alumni and graduated in 2014. METRO Coffee had always been, and should remain, to be a vital part of the UW Tacoma campus' area of coffee, tea and many other services (meetings, college study groups, valued by MANY students, staff and visitors. The owner, Stephen, has always been very supportive of students and staff when it comes to accommodations or even an occasional fund raiser supporter. I personally worked with METRO Coffee when I volunteered at Tacoma UW s Giving Garden where Stepanie agreed to work with our coffee grounds and organic composting pilot program. This place business and it's employees were always inviting, unique and comforting. Please support Stephanie and her business for many years to come. Thank you!

I would walk to the main strip to buy from Metro Coffee instead of buying from a "commercial chain coffee shop". I do not understand why the University of Washington would consider moving Metro Coffee out of the Campus and putting in a chain coffee shop.
Metro coffee is the best!
NOOOOOO
Please keep Metro coffee!
