We, as concerned parents and members of the MacArthur community desire to see a change in the direction MacArthur is heading.
Many of our longtime, beloved and valued teachers are leaving to seek employment elsewhere.
The MacArthur morale is very low, there is an increase in tension in the classroom and a deteriorating work environment for teachers, which all have negatively effected our children.
MacArthur families are united here. We want our school back. It cannot continue the way it has for the past two years.
We would like a principal that listens, who respects us and works hand-in-hand with the students, parents and teachers. This is not the case currently at MacArthur. We need a significant change either with or without Sally Norton!

I really did not think this would take off like it has when I first hit publish honestly. Reading through the stories you all are leaving about the teachers makes me think we might actually get someone to listen to us for once.

too many great teachers gone. the classrooms are failing because of this mess.
The teachers make the school not the board. Listen to these people before its too late.
My son loved his math teacher so much. Its a shame the school is driving all the good ones away.
FIX THE ADMINISTRATION. Sick of hearing about turnover every single year.
This is ridiculous. We moved to this district for the staff and now they are all quitting. Do something.

The vibe at MacArthur is awful right now. You can tell the teachers are burned out and tired of the lack of support.
