We need our Local Development companies so badly. They help kept our rural economy alive, even vibrant in places, something our urban politicians seem determined to ignore !

Please keep this vital service intact and run by SKDP/Leader and not by departments set up to take the funding away from the original groups.

If it wasn't for local deveopment companies such as NEKD I never would have been able to get my business off the ground, they were extremely helpful through out the whole process and I can now nearly afford to hire 1 new person, which means that 2 of us will be off the dole, that cant be a bad thing...

As PRO of the Tracton Community Council which has seen huge benefits from relationship with SECAD, we urge most strongly the continuance of the role of the Local Development Companies, such as SECAD.
