I wish to give my full support to this petition. I believe local development companies are playing a crucial role in supporting local communities and in promoting social inclusion, aiding job creation and supporting the development of local economies. They support those who are unemployed, small and micro enterprises, and provide targeted training where the need has been identified in local areas.

It is vital that West Limerick Resources remains in existence, it has helped rural Ireland to have amenities such as halls, resource centres, training for unemployed, courses for the elderly in computers plus many more projects eg town parks, playgrounds training for the women to access employment after rearing their families etc etc
