Having been unemployed for 18 months I found working on a Tús scheme just the confidence boost that I needed. After completing the scheme I moved straight into employment. The opportunities that DLDC provide the community are a fantastic resource and would be sorely missed if they were removed.

DLDC is great help to small isolated areas of Donegal. The people would not have got grants if DLDC was not there. DLDC needs to be kept as it is.

I would like to express my support for the DLDC organisation. I can testify to the effectiveness of its delivery of the LEADER Programme. The company have made a huge difference to the Ballyshannon area and I would like to see the expertise of personnel to be retained going forward as they would be a great loss to the community groups of the county

Without LDCs we will return to dereliction, ignorance about environment, social fragmentation and division. DLDC has translate the ethos of community health and positivism into social reality.

IRD Duhallow does fantastic work for the local community and would be a huge loss if their funding is taken away.

Once again a top down approach reducing the capacity of communities to respond to local need, creating jobs for the'boys' and keeping control in the hands of the few.
