I have seen at first hand the positive difference that the work of Local and Community Development Programme (LCDP). I fear that the expertise, the passion, the commitment and the proven outcomes from the work of experienced staff may be damaged by the tendering of this Programme.

We really need to save the Waterford Leader Partnership. This was a tremendous help to me when I lost my job 2 years ago. The assistance I received from the team allowed me to re-train and get my self back working again very quickly. It is incredible hard when you out of work and teams like these are so important for us all to give us the help we sometimes require,

Local Development Company workers have rights too! Minister Hogan must talk to the Trade Unions that represent us. Get involved in the Trade Union campaign - SIPTU & IMPACT - to ensure our rights are protected. Some staff have given 20 years or more service to Local Development and Minister Hogan refuses to talk to our National Trade Union reps. This is 2014, not 1913, Minister.
