This is an invaluable resource for small struggling communities where Tourism is the only industry. Local knowledge and a hands on approach work well in this area rather than dealing with a remote organization based in the capital with normally little or no knowledge of our area.

We need this. If you keep taking away everything we will be left with nothing. Our children need us to be proactive for their future. We need it for our future. We have a voice. We will take action if you keep taking things away.

As it has been previously stated the support and encouragement of Local Development Companies (LCDs) is very important in the continuing regeneration of the grass roots of our economy. LDCs are about the people who make up our communities, the individuals who actually understand our local and regional location. They are unbiased and give huge amounts of support in a number of ways that is non threatening and yet is fully encouraging, through their many courses and personal one to one advice / counselling sessions with relevant specialists. They are a truly wonderful resource that connects those with fledgling business enterprises with people who can sincerely advise, support and guide people though what can be a an exciting and yet an incredibly nerve racking and worrying time. I can not thank enough my LDC, SEACD for the courses and I have been on and the for time given to me by Cora one of the very committed specialists who has spent a lot of time helping me to work out how I can move forward, to help me get of the live register and hopefully back into education and full time employment. Cora's advice has been invaluable to me. The loss of SEACAD to our region (south east Cork) would be a devastatingly huge blow to our local community. Please save our Local Development Companies and let them continue to support, the regeneration of our local communities from the grass roots up, that they are so good at, without the interference of county and local politics.

If it wasn't for DLDC the Ray Community Group wouldn't be a state of the art centre and the commended work that is being done would be a great loss to the local area and the County of Donegal

I am a member of Donegal Town Garden Gnomes and organic vegetable growing institute, based at the Bluestack Centre, Donegal Town. The project is very worthwhile and our 15+ members get much return for the mental & physical healther and log may it continue. Thankyou DLDC
