Beautifully put, Cam....weddings benefit literally every business in town from lodging to other restaurants, to the cruise businesses and gift shops. This is a no brainer.

As a resident of Essex who would like to see investment in our town continue, I strongly urge the Board of Selectmen to reconsider their decision to deny this one-day entertainment license. I have multiple friends who are considering bringing their dollars to Essex with plans to get married, and I've encouraged them to consider Riversbend as a location. If Justin and Drew can't get this license approved, there's no way to market Essex (and thereby bringing tax revenue to our little tiny town) as a destination to get married. Consider what that does to this town's economy as a whole, to Riversbend as an establishment and to Justin and Drew personally.

Businesses should be allowed to have live entertainment as their is only a small window in the summer time from which benefits many of other businesses as well

I support Drew and Justin's wedding venue at Riversbend. The town needs to listen to their appeal! Ridiculous!!

I am an Essex resident and friend of Justin and Drew who ALSO believes that, with certain rules in place guiding amplification and time of day, live music should be allowed at any and all of the restaurants and cafes in Essex.

I live very close to Riversbend and would love to know that as a community, we support celebrations like this for neighbors like Justin and Drew. Essex town laws need to grow with the community.
