This decision seems unnecessarily restrictive, especially in light of the strains on our community and country during the pandemic. Surely a solution could be found. The notion of “precedent” seems hollow, since, as a musician, I’ve played outdoors for events for over 50 years. How intrusive could this small request for musical celebration really be?

artists and musicisns have like many small local businesses have a very hard two years. Anything we can do to support them we should...and in these days of overwhelming bad news anything we can do to bring joy to people profession their love we should also do
