The three partners who were asked to take on this project for the betterment of Lido Key have in totality lived in and been business owners in the Sarasota community for 153 years between the three of them. They are LOCAL, homegrown business owners who care about the preservation as well as the improvement of Sarasota. To thwart the growth of this city and to stay stuck in a single mindset about this project would be a detriment to locals as well as tourists. Not only do they want to improve the area, but they also want to highlight what makes Sarasota and it’s beaches such a wonderful places to live as well as visit. Sign this petition to support local growth!

56,000 people live in Sarasota, most of which cannot afford to live across the street from the beach. Those who can afford to live across the street certainly have no proprietary right to keep the rest of us from having nice facilities and more fully utilizing such a wonderful public site.
