PLEASE stop the clear cutting of trees in Chapin! Timberlake is no longer Timberlake!! There is nowhere for the wildlife to go and will continue to get worse if we keep taking the trees down. Stop overgrowth here in chapin. Developers are overbuilding and there are too many houses per acre. Chapin cannot accommodate all of the overgrowth on its roads. Just stop! Please!!

Lexington county has got to stop this mass destruction of all our beautiful trees and more traffic that’s making everyone late to wherever they’re going. Wessinger old Lexington and 76 are horrible and with more construction to take place they have got to be a stop to this. And about 76 why not have turn lanes in all the businesses along 76 so traffic can flow alittle smoother. As a business owner on 76 there have been nearly wrecks daily with people trying to turn into a business. Leave Lake Murray alone

We need to slow development until we have the infrastructure to support it. Which I don’t see happened any tim soon.

Please maintain the moratorium. Daily I experience the strain on our roads and systems in the Chapin area. A strategic plan needs to be developed.

We have to do something immediately. We don’t have time to wait and let developers get property grandfathered in.

I support this moratorium and any motion to extent it until a comprehensive plan is developed for future growth.

If the developer from Myrtle Beach successfully petitioned the Federal Government over rezoning of 100 year flood off highway 77 our tax dollars would be spent on fixing these money hungry recklessness.

There has to be a better plan in place before Lexington becomes an undesirable place to live. The roads cannot accommodate the number of cars now.

I agree with the moratorium. Lexington is over run and no infrastructure to support the growth. With expansion of home there must expansion of services. Lake Murray is beautiful and it and it’s wildlife need protected

Require larger lots per home. More space between homes.

There should be minimum lot sizes such as half-acre to 2 acre to minimize some of the tiny lot neighborhoods. Lexington County can’t support the number of people already here with schools, roads, etc(infrastructure). The entire rural landscape has changed too quickly to keep up. Laws need to be revisited for zoning as well as builders having some skin in our community to offset infrastructure costs.
