Re: Character Reference for Jamar Mitchell
Dear Honorable Judge Geraci,
We provide this letter in support of Jamar Mitchell. As the sentencing judge in this case, we ask that you are lenient and consider Jamar's character, his acceptance of responsibility and the totality of this case.
Jamar is very respectful, reserved and highly intelligent. Just like Joe and Jerrod, Jamar loves himself, his family and community. All brothers used to volunteer in aiding residents at Wesley on East where their grandmother lived after her Alzheimer's disease progressed. Jamar worked as a contractor, horticulture trainee and associate.
He will continue his education and excel in the area of legislative affairs. Jamar exercised his interest in legislative affairs by serving as a Legislative Intern for the City of Baltimore. He worked in the office of Baltimore's Mayor Sheila Dixon on 2004. Jamar learned of the many challenges citizens endure in a major city and the processes to ensure legislation is passed, revoked, and/or updated accordingly.
Jamar will overcome the obstacles of this case. Although he has encountered many challenges while being incarcerated, particularly with depression and anger, Jamar sought the assistance needed. We love Jamar, support him and hope that you accept this letter for our dear Jamar Mitchell.
Sincerely,
Family and Friends in Support of Jamar Mitchell
