Support JuneBug Farmstand - A Small, Local, Family-Run Farmstand in Rogers County
We are Denise and Amber, a mother–daughter team in Rogers County and a shared deep love for gardening, baking, and sharing wholesome, homemade food. Our dream is to open a tiny 6x6 self-serve farmstand on our property — a welcoming little spot for fresh-baked bread, cookies, garden vegetables, and homemade jams.
This is not a commercial store, nor will it change the character of our neighborhood. The property’s zoning will remain exactly the same. The only request is a special exception — a site-specific, case-by-case allowance — to let us share our goods directly with neighbors in a safe and compliant way.
We are committed to being responsible stewards of our land and respectful neighbors:
- The stand will be set back on our property, away from the road.
- We will follow clear parking and traffic guidelines to avoid congestion.
- All goods will comply with Oklahoma’s Homemade Food Freedom Act.
- This is a small, slow-paced operation — a trickle of friendly faces, not a steady stream of traffic.
Why This Matters:
- Supports small-town values and neighbor-to-neighbor connection.
- Provides fresh, wholesome, locally made food.
- Keeps traditions of gardening, baking, and homemade living alive.
- Gives a local family the chance to build something meaningful right where they live.
What We’re Asking:
Please join us in supporting the approval of this special exception. Your signature will show the Rogers County Planning Commission that our community values local food, family traditions, and the right to operate small, respectful, home-based ventures.
