I don't know Amitt but it sounds very much like his safety in India is not guranteed and British should grant him asylum.

It is very important to protect the safety of journalists. If we do not help with this we will not find out the truth about such conflicts. If we really believe in free speech then our country needs to offer asylum to persecuted journalists.
