Jody has an impeccible reputation in this community. She has helped so many community members and their families through the end of life process. Please review the process that ended with Hospice losing the best Hospice nurse they have ever had.

We all support the many excellent employees that brought the success story of YH. What I do not support is the new CEO who now terrorized employees who do not agree with him. Yes, I do want a review of the process of Jody termination. Yes, I can handle the truth and so is Jody. She wants the truth to be told. Do you, anonymous, can handle the truth? Or you already decided that the truth is what the CEO wants you to know? You want this petition to go away because it does not fit your belief? The petition will not tarnish the name of YH, the way employees are treated is. I am ashamed that it happened at YH, which I quit working 3 days ago after a shameful, humiliating board meeting. YH was the best place I had ever worked in my 27 years career as a nurse. I love this organization because of its employees.

Everybody on this site (I.E. Jody's FB friends) need to get a life. She has been terminated with cause and there is no turning back. She is DONE!!!!

This comment is to Misty and Anonymous, who claims they have the fact to Jody's termination. If you recall this petition was given to the board to review Jody's termination. The people, who attended the board meeting, ask the board president to review the termination and if policy and procedures were followed. It was also ask if there was a personal manual on those procedures. The answer we got from the board president was "It not going to be discuss here and we want to protect Jody's rights." So my question is how did Misty and Anonymous received their information? I have never seen Misty's name on any staff roaster, who at Yolo Hospice is leaking this information to her?

This comment is for Misty Murphy, why are you so angry? What do you know that makes you so angry? Please explain so everyone can make a inform decision. What is the facts? This petition was started to find out if there is a process of termination and was it followed. Do you have any knowledge that it was? So far, there was been no answer from the board. Do you set on the board? Are an employee of Yolo Hospice? Please enlighten the readers of this petition.

I think it is really sad that after 19 years and being the "heart of hospice", that this petition for Jody was only able to muster up 95 signatures. I also think that there are a lot of issues that cannot be discussed with the public, but will make their way to the surface over time. Time to move on.

Also, Soooooo much evidence about how Jody and Piper bullied others in the organization. This was NEVER about Jody's love of Yolo Hospice, but about her egoism and narcissism. People who were chased away by Jody are coming back in DROVES and showing support for the organization. At the end of the day it is about patient care, not a popularity contest. Get your facts straight!!!!!!!!!!!

People who sign this petition is from staff and people would you had a high regard for Yolo Hospice and would like know if to due process done, Jody did not start this petition, it was started by staff members, who like to have some answer from adm. She never did post it n her facebook acct.

To the nurse who said, "what about me?" --get your "self" out of the way, this is not about you, nor is it just about Jody Norton who represents the heart of Hospice--represents a way of nursing, represents all of us who try to be present for others without our "selves" sitting there and getting attention. The loss of Jody is an attack on all of us who have represented Yolo Hospice and we don't need "grief" and "change" therapy! We are angry and disgusted that this could happen to an organization which we loved, supported and believed in. How do you come into a work place and attack it instead of working with its parts and supporting what we has been built and what works because it is different from the usual money making organization. This non-profit was filled with giving people who loved and donated their time to "help" others. Now it is being undermined because of a difference of opinion??, a power grab or whatever?? It is senseless and disturbing and makes us angry not in need of grief therapy!
