Yes her name was Shaneen Allen also Brian Fletcher who was repairing phone towers after Hurricane Sandy came through who was also arrested after telling a police officer he had a gun in his truck and a NC permit. Also theres many others who are not in the headlines this is insane! I carry for work I was only passing through I never resisted and I immediatly told the officer I had a firearm and then kept my hands raised and kept it proffesional.

Besides the fact that ALL STATES should respect the 2nd Amendment which "shall not be infringed".. Didn't we just go through this with that lady from Pennsylvania thay was going to a sons birthday party?? this is ridiculous ...he was not waving it around or threatening lives..NO LAWS BROKEN!!

Although i do not support firearms, the constitution states that we are allowed the right to carry. This man has all the proper paperwork that makes his carry LEGAL. Just because he crossed state border should not counter his legality in such possession. Pardon this man, he has not committed a crime.

Thank you all so much for all the support I am still trying to get the pardon Gov Christie promised while on his presidential race. I am approved for a pardon by the NJ Parole board I have no way to contact the Gov directly.

I believe most officers are of good conscience, but we all make mistakes, fpr whatever reason. If this was indeed a mistake by the officer then it needs to be rectified. Sorry James is going through this ordeal, when all he is doing, is trying to make an honest wage( unlike some) .

This is an honest mistake not knowing the laws of each state. He is an innocent man that works hard for his family and has come under dangerous situations. He needs to be protected. With that being said please release him and take care of actual criminals that are killing and destroying lives and families all over these states.

I don't believe in guns nor do I support gun ownership. However, I don't believe this man intentionally did anything wrong. We all make mistakes. Especiallysince he identified the weapons to the cops. He clearly wasn't trying to hide anything!
