There's one word for your comment and that's "ignorant". Town progress? Oh my goodness! It's exactly your attitude that prevents progress because your views are so narrow minded. Maybe one day you might need some help, some food from the food bank or just somewhere to socialise...think on....this place could be your lifeline!

My mother attends the Lighthouse on a weekly basis and enjoys her visits immensely. It's an amazing place, for people from all walks of life, to come together to learn something new or just socialise. Without this, some people will genuinely have nothing else to turn to and some are too long in the tooth to find something new. I live in Australia, but had the great pleasure of visiting the Lighthouse on my visit back to the UK with my mother. It was an amazing place, full of inspirational people and bringing smiles to the faces of people who sometimes find every day life a struggle. I support this wholeheartedly and wish you every success with your petition.

This wonderful project must be kept going. Someone, somewhere, must know of a place to rehouse it. I personally use the art room as a pensioner no where else can equal it for the support, company and ease of use, no expensive lessons just friendly help, it gets me out of the house.

These organisations are fundamental to Middleton! Relocation is costly and disrupts service.

It's typical of this government that anything designed to help those in need is closed!
Let's fight for this, the Lighthouse project, it needs to stay where it is and it needs our support!!
