It was hot and the terrorist was in a heavy coat. Why? Witnesses shared the belief that the terrorist was wearing a suicide vest. Israel is at war. Israel needs soldiers who are not afraid to shoot to kill. When in doubt, they must be given the benefit of doubt if corroborating evidence exists. It does and it is wrong to try him in the press internationally.

This reaction on the part of Netanyahu and other military personnel seems to be a rush to judgement and we should stand with our IDF men and women who must act quickly to do their job of protecting Israeli citizens instead of a terrorist with a knife trying to kill an many Israelis as possible. This is War and not a game of political correctness!

I am shocked that the Israeli government would publicly condemn this young man for his heroism. Rather than publicly condemning and humiliating him the government- at ALL levels- and the judicial system should have defended his actions, adding , we will investigate this matter fully. To take him away in handcuffs after the terrorist had stabbed a soldier, is a cruel punishment for someone defending his country and fellow citizens. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon should have reminded the public that soldiers must make split second decisions iin order to defend the public, and they believe the soldier did the right thing for the right reasons.

Jewish Blood Is NOT Cheap. He did the right thing and the fact that the Israeli government is pandering to B'Tselem, an anti-Israel organization is despicable!!

Professional Peacekeeping. No regrets in saving the public lives and society at peace. No terrorist management to allow more terrorism on another day with open borders and special entitlements, example France and Belgium, and USA. Terrorists are in a genocidal war where the world is paying to receive an agreement with a death cult. Contain. Neutralize. Remove.

This soldier was doing what he was trained to do - to save civilians and to save his own life and that of his fellow soldiers. He should receive a medal for his actions. He certainly should not have been imprisoned.
