The north end of the boardwalk is suffering. For those of us that remember the activity on the boardwalk all the way up to Johnson's Ice Cream before it burnt down 55 years ago. Ocean City is nothing without its iconic boardwalk and boardwalk businesses. Other boardwalks have started to deteriorate at one end and the darkness grows. Imagine coming out out of the Music Pier with a dark boardwalk to the right. The Icona would be the north end anchor for a lifetime.
