Please add your name in support of Islesboro Island Affordable Property Renters attaining rights to keep a small flock of hens for tick reduction, general pest control, food security, emergency readiness, education & friendship. Many city zoning laws have been changed over the past decade to allow the keeping of small flocks of hens, with reasonable restrictions, in light of evidence that chickens have less impact on property damage than do dogs, cats & small children. Please help us change IAP's policy on pets to include chickens as domesticated animals, not livestock, so that the renters of IAP may enjoy the benefits of these delightful creatures.
