This enhancement can only improve the facilities available to the local community and can help attract visitors to a beautiful part of Mayo. A timely boost the area and our county needs badly, granting permission a must.

We think the planning permission should be accepted as there's nowhere nice locally for families to go for a nice meal & this would be ideal. I don't understand why it has been rejected.

My parents have a house very close by and when I visit it is such a shame to see it closed. In a great location there should be a business in operation. We would love to see it opened again.

What’s happening in the West, too many small people stopping progress. Apple under protest in Athenry, Healy’s under protest in Pontoon? Crazy! If Ireland are going to get the show back on the road, let the good things happen and worry less around change and embrace progress!
