Support RZC2022-00045 and RZM2022-00047 Hamilton Mill Mixed Use Development

Let’s support new well-located, high-quality mixed-use development including multifamily and retail shops.

Gwinnett County is a thriving and growing community with the most growth and diversity in metro Atlanta since 2020. The population in Gwinnett is quickly approaching 1 million people. What an amazing milestone showing just how great Gwinnett is as a destination for new business and residents. In anticipation of that population growth, Gwinnett County commissioned a 20-year housing study to forecast demand through 2040. The study determined that the county needs over 3,000 new apartments annually to provide housing options for the growing population. The average number of new apartments permitted annually in Gwinnett County over the past 10 years is less than half of that. There is a tremendous need for new apartments in Gwinnett County.

Please sign this petition to show your support for new apartments to continue to give ALL residents, new and old, more diverse housing options. Families need housing and apartments are an important component to solve the shortage.
