Final supporters
Grumpy's will be in front of the Ketchum P & Z on March 27 at 5:30 p.m. Our goal at this meeting is to extend our hours of service until 10 p.m. May 1- September 30.
Please support us at Ketchum P & Z for this endeavor at as we are heading into our 40th anniversary. We are doing this for the obvious reason that during the summer months it stays light and doesn't cool down until after 9 p.m... when people want to eat! We are by zoning rules in the LI 1 required to stop serving at 9 p.m. This puts off our customers as they just think the staff is lazy or crazy to give up the sales generated after 9 p.m.

I have yet to meet as responsible and as talented an entrepreneur as Pete Prekeges. I have no doubt that the extra hour will add to the commerce and quality of life in Ketchum. Under Pete's watch, this is an excellent idea. Having lived behind "The Silver Dollar" in Bellevue, ID for almost 7 years, I can attest to Pete's responsible and positive managerial style. We've never had an issue with anything that was under his control.
Commissioners, please consider allowing Grumpys to serve until 10 pm from May 30 to September 1. The Basecamo gas station nearby is open much later and should you approve this extension, impacts to traffic and neighborhood noise should be minimal. Warm Springs Road has high traffic later that 9 pm. I use this road daily to commute to and from my residence. Please consider this request.
The revised Hours are appropriate for the location/area. Been a WRV resident as well as a Grumpys Patton for decades. This would be a welcome change.
The nature of this neighborhood has changed drastically since the existing zoning was implemented. It is rapidly shifting from residential to commercial. Allowing Grumpys to remain open an additional hour will have little impact on the quality of that neighborhood, but will substantially improve the viability of the business, with the resulting increase in option tax revenue.
We travel over from Mackay a lot in the summer, sometimes Grumpys is closed before we make it there. Grumpys is our most favorite eatery. Later hours would be wonderful!

Summer hours should be later for businesses as it stays light later, People go for a run or ride after work and then want to grab a bite to eat. Grumpy's is the perfect place for a casual dinner with friends afterwards!
