The Western Writers' Centre - Ionad Scríbhneoirí Chaitlín Maude - Galway has been in existence for almost twelve years. In that time, we have organised festivals, literary events, readings, creative writing class (some online) and have received an Irish-language award. We provide literary information, guidance on editing and finding publishers and agents. We also run the annual Forge at Gort Literature Festival in Co. Galway. We work in the regions of Galway, Clare and even in Limerick and co-operate widely with other writers' groups. We want to hear from you, whether or not you have been a client of ours but certainly if you have; we want to know that you support us and believe we are doing good work.
