Dear fellow students of UMR,

Our names are Jake and Heaven, and we are the first-year representatives of UMR. From talking to our fellow students, we found that there has been significant water issues with the coloring and smell of the water. We have created a petition to bring awareness of this issue's seriousness because it's essential for students to have access to clean water at all times on campus. Although some students may have the financing to purchase a water filter to illuminate this issue, many others do not. We propose that the university provide an outlet to free water filters to students who prove this need to university officials.
