Thank God for you defenders of truth. I would like to help in any way I can. So horrible what was done to our boys. Out with the school board!!!!!!

I am glad that my kids are already out of the school district. I feel really bad for the parents who are going through this mess with our school district. Thank you Mr. Machin for your excellent comment in the Journal on Jan 12. Superintendent Muller and Trustee Valdes-Clayton don’t care about our kids or community members. They both need to go. I am still angry about their responses about the so called “racist “ incident. Three generations of my family live here and have never encountered any racism in our community. We are not Caucasians as you can tell by my last name. We are proud to be Coronadans. Let’s not divide but unite. Coronado is not a racist city!

Parents have every right to know what is being taught to their children.

All citizens must be concerned about what is taught in the public schools.

I would like to be informed if CRT or similar programs are being taught in this district.

Common sense should prevail: School districts are not the third parent. Vilifying and bullying parents into submission is something I am vehemently against.

I think it is disgraceful to limit a parent’s rights when their child is in school. That is Communism.

Elected officials must NEVER have the power to deny our Constitutional rights.

Protect free speech now and always.

I absolutely agree. Parents have every right to know what's being taught and voice concerns about what's in the curriculum. Our kids are our kids - they don't belong to the State.

Parents have a God given right to make decisions that affect their children. This includes their health and well-being as well as what they are taught and exposed to

Freedom of Speech must reign overall, but especially with regards to our children and parental rights to oversee what they are learning!

Let’s bring common sense & kindness back to communities and schools. Parents belong in every single conversation that has to do with their children. Period.

Parents should have the right to be involved in their kids education and free speech at school board meetings without government intimidation.

I the God giving right to protect my children, therefore I will want to speak up against or pro when the people we elected to be in charge of making selection that affects my children education.

Free Speech to secure our Constitution of the United States and to secure a quality education for our children & grandchildren

We must remember our rights in this wonderful country and not let them be taken away. Only by not being involved do we suffer the loss of our rights.
