Support Our Bills for a study on NYers' rights to free admission to city institutions

There are laws and contracts in place providing the terms of New Yorkers' free admission and instruction. The bills seek a study of the facts of these rights ... a review more than 150 years in the making. Please urge you family and friends to sign the Petition as well to demonstrate support of the sponsors' efforts on our behalf.

Living in NY is really expensive and many people do not get a proper salary, we should be able to enjoy the museums free or at a very low rate

These are resources that we subsidize and deserve unrestricted access to.

The laws generally provide free access to the exhibition halls or animal/mammal collection of each institution.

As provided by laws and contracts. This bill is necessary to get New Yorkers' rights codified so we all can benefit from our mid-1800's cultural legacy.

As a senior, I would appreciate free admission.

All the more reason for New Yorkers to sign the Petition to show support for the study engendered in the bills so that all New York City residents can benefit from a cultural legacy articulated in laws and contracts.

Please have friends and family sign the Petition, as well. Supporting the sponsors of the bills will permit a necessary study delineating the facts of New Yorkers free rights to be done.

Appreciate your thoughtful comment. Until this campaign, New Yorkers have been unaware of the promises made but not kept and the dollars spent on the unkept promises, solidified in laws and contracts. As a disabled senior who supported & paid admission for my 2 sons & gandchildren and now am not able to attend because of change in finances, I am distraught at not being able to bring my grands!
