Give them the grant! They do great work which enhances the cross country ski experience and makes it a little safer as well as prolongs the quality of the snow. Makes outdoor recreation more appealing

If there was ever a group to fund, it's this one. Groomed xc-ski trails with instructors for all ages just an hour away from ABQ is unbelievable.

Cross country skiing in the nearby Sandia Mountains will attract many users if the trails are carefully designed and maintained for many different snow conditions throughout the winter. Sandia Nordic Ski Club has initiated progress toward this goal that will benefit many future generations of outdoor winter enthusiasts.
