I am so thankful to have had such an amazing 2nd grade teacher! Mrs. Lemon showed me kindness, and caring. She truly loved all of her students and I respect and support her.

In the 10+ years that I've known Melanie, I have never doubted her compassion and love for other people - especially children. Through youth sports and church activities, I have entrusted my own babies to her care without a second thought. She treats everyone she meets with respect and makes them feel special, usually with a smile and a hug. I hope that this situation is resolved quickly and that wisdom and discernment will prevail.

I'm not sure what has happened, but can say with certainty, whatever she is being accused of is not correct. Hoping everything gets sorted out so she can use her faith and love to teach again.
