The establishment of Palestine as a state is contrary to the UN charter which requires the prospective state to be peace-loving. The commitments made by the PA in the context of the Oslo agreements, and the fact no doubt many Arab Palestinians are seriously peace-loving, it is undeniable that significant elements of Palestinian society remain committed to jihad, violence and terror. The Palestinian Charter still advocates jihad and some elements of the PA leadership openly support the use of violence towards Israel and the Jewish people.

Please do not vote for Palestinian statehood. This is important as this would supply more opportunity for Palestinians to terrorise Israel. Arab countries are 800 times the size of Israel. Surely you find it suspicious that Paletinians, who are Arabs, prefer to live right next to the hated Israelis rather than among their own brethren. This shows that their hatred of Jews and their intention to 'drive them into the sea' remains unabated.

Keep spreading the Truth and let's stand with Israel always!

It is difficult to negotiate with an irrational people who would rather die that seek terms for peace. The sons of Ishmael will never change..

The glorification of terrorists and jihadists by the PA and the ongoing anti-Israel incitement by both the PA and Hamas, are driving many Palestinians into the open arms of the Islamic State. This is something that the UN Security Council members will have to consider the next time they are asked to vote in favor of the establishment of a Palestinian state. Otherwise, they will be voting for the creation of an Islamic, and not a Palestinian, state right in Israel's midst.

I support Jeff and Rosemary's letter to David Seymour MP and hope he will take its content on board.

I whole heartedly endorse the letter of the Cooks. New Zealand's role on the UNSC will be a critical one this term so I hope we excercise our vote responsibly and wisely. Don't get sucked into the Palestinian myth of them needing a state of their own. The truth is the PA wants ultimately a 'one state' solution, one in which Israel does not exist. Giving them want they want will nto help them and also get us into worse problems from the backlash.
