Thank you for all your support. This has been a dream for myself and Felicity (Flick) for many years and we have worked side by side for 10 years now and we do what we do because we LOVE what we do.
Thank you all for your support, caring words and strong embraces. xo

There has been no genuine engagement or consultation about this change with the parents of St Joseph’s. This is unacceptable. Where is your policies on consultation and community engagement. Show us as a community how you have followed your own framework. Provide the evidence base for the recommended change to parents and the true motives of why this is happening rather than promoting this as an alignment of an OOSC brand within catholic schools. Very disappointed

This has been an appalling and arrogant abuse of power and a grab for profit, at the expense of the well-being of children. Shame on the Diocese!

We dearly love and deeply value the care that KCA team provide our children, both out of school hours and vacation care. I can’t stress enough the love and care the team provide to our children, and what an asset the KCA team is to our school community.

We love KCA and are saddened that St Nicks feel they need to take over every where! They have already taken over at our school after school care and vacation care. We have refused to use them. Our son looks forward to seeing Nay Nay in school holidays! We love Nay Nay, her services and the staff! St Nicks are just like another ABC! So disappointed that this is happening to KCA!

KCA provide an exceptional level 0f care and are a vital part of the St Josephs Merewether community.
The lack of consultation, communication and transition planning shows a disregard for KCA staff and St Josephs families - not very Christian.

We request reinstatement of kca as the provider of OOSH and vc at st Joseph’s. We are appalled at the approach the diocese has taken in this discussion. The lack of consultation Snd communication of this decision as key stakeholders is disgraceful.

We would like to see KCA reinstated immediately as OOSC provider for St Joseph’s. The lack of communication and consultation over this change in provider has been disgraceful. KCA is an integral and essential part of our school community. The staff genuinely care for our kids which is demonstrated not only by the service they provide but by their presence at grade sharing assemblies, school musicals and other school events which is completely in their own time. Losing KCA would be an enormous, irreplaceable loss to St Joseph’s

I am absolutely appalled by this decision and the lack of respect shown to the KCA staff and parents of St Joseph’s Primary. I understand that the CSO needs to operate a business but as an organisation based on Catholic values, I don’t believe these values have been followed at all.

The manner with which this decision has been executed, delivered and communicated is simply appalling. KCA must continue as the OOSH and VC provider at our school, without a doubt.

I am so upset and disgusted at the handling of this issue. Putting a much loved and wanted, incredibly successful and very valued part of our school community out in this way, especially before Christmas is abhorrent. The lack of genuine consultation and information is unacceptable. The downright greed and disregard for our school, the kids and our St Joseph’s community is a real concern. I’d like to see KCA reinstated immediately.
