Eva and her work is integral to a positive college experience for Bellevue College international students. She has been able to build a community of mutual support between students and organizations across the campus, bringing together people from all different backgrounds in a way that fosters positive relationships and cross-cultural connection. Without her, new international students will come to the country and feel lost and lonely. They will struggle with making connections and integrating into the American lifestyle. Removing Eva from her position is a disservice to the college as a whole, and would directly violate the college's values of diversity, inclusion, and community.

Eva is one the most kind and hard working person I've ever met.. she always trys her best to enhance students' engagement and promote Bellevue College. What's the purpose of firing Eva? To make College lame and unattractive? I don't know where they spend college activity money as well. Trustees seem don't care about student engagement and college life and they're trying to make it worse.

Eva was really helpful and take a great care for the international students. I had met lots of new friends by attending events led by Eva. I hope she could still countinue as our International Student Engagement Specialist.

Eva was the first person from Bellevue College that I got in touch with for the college seminar and through her events I was able to get to know people and be part of a community. For us, international students, it is crucial to have friends and people such as Eva that makes us feel welcomed and have a second family, since most of us are alone in the US. Her kind and attentive personality and the way she takes care of the students, is what make me stay at Bellevue College and this is something unique since the "Seattle Freeze" is an actual thing. In this same context, I've met people that left the U.S from different colleges, because they couldn't adapt to this environment and dint have anyone they could count on. And I feel privileged to have someone like Eva and that promotes diversity at Bellevue College. Because she is the one that keeps this college alive and students engaged.

Eva Juarez has been a great advisor for not only international students but also BC students in general with a warm heart. It would be a big loss for BC to lose a staff who listens, acts, and devotes for students.

No International Student Engagement Specialist = Fewer Events
Why we are even attending BC then?
