Something has to change. Crime is rampant and the city prosecutors need to be held accountable for not prosecuting these criminals.

Burien's business owners are expressing the same sentiment as the local residents. We want to know our community is safe, and to have a strong visible police presence to help us maintain a positive family atmosphere.

Burien City Council, please vote consistent with Burien residents' opinions and not follow the failed efforts by the City of Seattle. Some of us moved from Seattle to avoid the consequences of their outrageous decisions!

I moved to Burien 13 years ago and while I have fallen in love with many aspects of the city over the years, I am quickly falling out of love. I do not feel safe nor do I want to raise our kids here unless things change quickly.

City Council, Please take some responsibility and positive action towards restoring the safety of our wonderful city for the law abiding tax payers who actually call Burien their home. We are not being heard and I feel the needs of those non contributors here are being prioritized over those who actually have dollars to keep the city viable!
