Black students at LC need all the love we can muster at this moment. When you begin class tomorrow, please acknowledge to all students that these racist occurred and let them them know that you care about making our campus a more just and equitable place.

When one group of our students is threatened, we are all threatened. I encourage faculty to be flexible with assignments and attendance tomorrow to facilitate student activism on this important issue. #blacklivesmatter

I stand in solidarity with the Black students of Lewis & Clark College in the face of racist bigotry that will not be tolerated. May the response to this divisive hate speech be a unified front of our community working collectively to advance initiatives for greater inclusion and equity at the College.
