I was at Colusa county court today September 18, 2023. The very first case was nathan ramazzini via zoom. I was so distraught i left the courtroom to go cry in the bathroom. I could not control my tears any longer. I was left literally shaken. I can't believe they would have him in a public court. I was devastated.

Strongly concur. The 707 process is a very thorough vetting to be adjudicated to adult court. These are psychopathic criminals who get caught young. The individuals that are 707ed to adult court are very violent sophisticated criminal murderers. There are processes in place that allows a truly reformed LWOPer obtain parole. The changes starting with ex Sen. Yee is a way to make heaps of dollars for defense attorneys and experts, It is a gravy train that should be used for increased space at the California Department of Corrections prisons. The havoc currently being created by this insane practice of letting violent murderous criminals get back on the streets is going to be both a heartbreak and huge tax burden. The judges in these cases have a menu of sentences to select from. LWOP is only one choice thus null and void with respect to Miller v Alabama. The law for LWOP is for a select few and was designed to protect civil society. Wonder how much gang money was laundered to pay off legislators? The gangs want these monsters back out.

Please pass this along for the victims survivors we should never have to face this again those people should never be free they choose to commit murder or abuse people in anyway they need to stay behind bars and pay for their sentence the way they were first sentence the first time around no matter how old they are they choose to form acts on innocent people I need to pay that’s what’s wrong with our system todayPeople have no fear of getting in trouble I need to take justice back again for the people of California in the USA
