I was assaulted my first semester of college. My parents did not believe me and blamed me immediately because alcohol was involved. I hope things change not only within the Temecula district but everywhere else as well. Seeing this petition and you spreading the word makes me feel all the better. Thank you.

I was sexually assaulted my last couple months of freshman year. I didn’t have anyone to go to for support. I went under depression. I was terrified of the guy who did the things he did to me. Until this day i still see him. I’m a senior now and my school doesn’t have this kind of help. I haven’t spoken up about it. Only my current boyfriend does and he’s been the only support. Having help at school would’ve probably helped me and others before it happens to them.

It's NEVER the victim's fault. Stop blaming the victim and start blaming the guilty for his crime. There is no valuable reason to excuse a rape. It is a crime.

The amount of time you need to get over an assult is no one elses decision but yours. No one has the right to take that away from you, and the ones who try make it worse. The worse feeling after being assulted, is feeling like it’s all in your head and not as serious as you think because of someone else’s naive opinion. No one truly understands the pain unless they’ve been through it themselves. Raise above, your assult does not define you. You are better.

I hope this is a step forward to doing the right thing sad to know us high schoolers have to worry about being shot and raped in a building they force us to go to. Hope you get your justice.

The constant presence of rape culture within highschool and colleges is egregious. A place built to educate , has become a hunting ground. And then the girls are blamed , for a boy who can not have the human decency to control himself and not rape.
