I would much prefer a swimming pool than the fireman park proposal. I would support a splash pad or area for young children that would be included with the pool.

I'm a Fitchburg resident, but Verona is our school district, and activity and social community, and I highly support this. Verona families are very active, and a community pool is a great way for friends to stay connected in the summer. There are also numerous families who hike over to Ridgewood and Seminole Pools and I'm guessing a Verona swim team wouldn't be too far behind a facility being built. It would be so nice to have kids hang out with friends without having to belong to an exclusive, high investment "club". Good luck, I'll watch and learn for ways I can help support this.

It would be great to have an affordable option that is local to all who live in Verona. I have a 2 and 4 year old who would love this and swim lessons would be great. Hioe this gets done!

I think this is a great idea. While we enjoy the Goodman pool off PD, because they run daycamps there, the pool does not open until late afternoon. Something similar to the Middleton pool would be awesome!!

We need a public pool in Verona! The Goodman Pool is not very useful since kids cannot get there without a vehicle and it is not open to the public during the day in the summer.
