The Civic is an important and valuable institution in our community. I support genuine conversation on how the City and RCT can collaborate and work together for the "one rooftop" concept. The City does not have to manage everything in our community nor should they want to do so. True collaboration and partnership is what is needed now.

This facility should continue to be used to produce community theatre as it's primary purpose.

The lease should not be broken by the City if the Theater has fulfilled its obligations. A plan to move forward is a better path.

I support Rochester Civic's Board and their committment to seeing this organization through to better days. I also support all of Rochester's performing arts, and know a complex performing arts community that provides lots of ways for everyone to participate is vital. Now is the time for Rochester city leadership to lean in, learn more about the complexities of running theaters (because it is not easy), and bolster their support of all arts activities, including the Rochester Civic.

So did the RCT board really write this or is it a parody because I am cracking up reading this? If there are any Theatre board members who don't agree with this message please let me know.
And what the hell? I'll sign... Screw that Wojcik guy...

Does anyone know the language of the tenancy agreement? Is it definitely being violated?

From what I've seen it's not Mr. W is recommending to remove RCT. Stupid close a long standing community group down.

Breaking the lease in this way is highly inappropriate. I stand with RCT.
