I urge the City Council to reject the separation agreemwnt and instead vote to supporr the fire chief.

In order to move forward as a city, this issue needs to be resolved. Mark Mata has overstepped the boundaries of his council member duties. He cannot faithfully make decisions regarding the fire department when he is a subordinate of the department.

Several years ago my neighbor was a BP firefighter and when Mata was first running for council he said if he was elected the city would pay. Seems to be the case.

Prillaman is a man of integrity both personally and professionally. To lose him under the stated circumstances would be a tragedy. Let's fix this!
