Chief Prillaman is a unique and great leader with the best tools for the job. As for the council member he shall be made to resignation himself from the fire department along with from being on the city council. If he is allowed to stay on either I can for see a lot of firefighters calling it quits for a hobby they enjoy doing. It takes a certain breed of person to be a firefighter and being a retired firefighter myself I know it's tough to find them

Conflict of interest. A "volunteer" firefighter should not have input/say over how veteran PROFESSIONAL fire chief conducts how he runs the fire department!

Chief Prillaman is a great asset to the city and residents of Brooklyn Park. Mark Mata is the one who should leave

Our fire chief is the best there has been for this city in a very long time. As a resident of Brooklyn Park, the city council member has a conflict of interest and the Fire Chief needs to stay. I. Will be voting against ALL of the City Council and the Mayor if the fire chief is allowed to be pushed out under these circumstances. And I will ACTIVELY work to campaign against each and every one of you to have you ousted at your re-elections.
