I've lived in Farnham for 17 years now and the East Street Development Scheme has been in the pipeline for all that time. I think enough talking has been done now, it's time to go ahead and actually do something at last!

These buildings have laid empty for years, wasting both space and money. Converting these into a cinema and pedestrianised centre will generate income and interest for local businesses, boosting the local economy.

This area of town is an eyesore and the new development will improve the look of the town and bring new business and some life back to the area

On with Brightwell Project! I've had enough of about 10 FIG people speaking for "ALL" of Farnham. The real Farnham residents have spoken, get over it and get on with building.

Would be such a fantastic improvement to Farnham and would increase the money coming into the town.

As a 20 year old I want the chance to stay in Farnham because of opportunities but with it unable to move forward, it becomes less likely that I will every day

Our poor town is looking rather run down lately. I fully support this scheme and would love to see my beloved town in a better shape.

Farnham needs this, it's a beautiful town but needs to regenerate it's 70's mistakes.

I believe that the majority of people in Farnham now want this development to go ahead in Farnham. We need it for the vitality of our town. It will bring more people into Farnham and make farnham more viable for the the younger generation (16-25). We should not be dictated to by this small group FIG - they do not have Farnham's best Interest in mind . If this development is delayed, the developer will walk away and no other will want to touch it. It will be the slow death of Farnham as a bustling town centre - that would be really sad.
