This has been talked about long enough. The land is an eyesore and Farnham needs something like this. Just get on with it!!

I wholeheartedly support the East Street development. It would be a fantastic opportunity for all the people in the town. Moving forward to improving facilities for younger generations.

I support the Brightwell and new East street development. This has gone on way too long. The town and its residents will benefit from it.

I want somewhere my 14 year old daughter can walk to instead of getting on the train to Guildford. I don't understand how people want to keep the current run down unused area of Farnham

Developers are not the devil incarnate. It's always a compromise in the end. However, the embarrassment of being indecisive is egg on all our faces. It really has been thirty years! God forbid the BBC continue their focus on us. it's disgraceful. I can think of several REALLY controversial planning decisions in London and SE England, that dwarf Brightwells into insignificance!

The old cinema was better than no cinema and it is sad to have seen the site as a tiny car park for over 30 years. Too much time and opportunity has been wasted to improve that end of Farnham. To anyone in doubt, look at how the Lion & Lamb improved the other end of town. Please get on and build the new scheme which will benefit so many now and in the future.

Wholeheartedly agree with the views expressed in support of this scheme. it beggars belief that a minority of objectionable people have succeeded in halting this project for so long!

I have 3 young children living on the fringe of Farnham, I've become much less frequent a shopper in Farnham But would love to start coming again when the new development offers more of an attraction.
