So bored of waiting for this to happen. Moved here over 30 years ago and it has been going to happen since then..... Lets just get on with it

We should not let this 'committee' speak on the behalf of Farnham residents.

It is time this project went ahead. We need a town where there are things to do for young and old which are affordable to the MAJORITY of people, so they don't have to got to Aldershot, Guildford or even Basingstoke in order to be entertained.

Time to realise that the demographic in Farnham has changed over recent years and we need to look forward and the development would be an asset to the town.

It's about time work got started on the bright wells scheme, when I was young we had a cinema and outside pool now there is nothing but coffee shops, estate agents and charity shops, nothing for the young.

I totally agree we should have a cinema complex in Farnham! Plus new shops, houses and flats - Farnham needs a sparkle! It's becoming dull

I think this would be so valuable to the town.

I moved to Farnham in 1995, to study, from London. At first I thought it was lovely to be in a place that was so much smaller than southwest London. Didn't take long to realise that, unless I wanted an expensive hair cut or some second hand clothes, I'd have to go elsewhere for it.
I'd love for the design of the redevelopment to have been respectful of the existing architecture in Farnham. Unfortunately to attract companies to the site they want big window displays for their products, but I'd rather have a clone shopping centre than the wasteland we have had for as long as I have lived here.
Yes there will be disruptive times with the builders lorrys, and yes there will be more traffic but there will also be more jobs, more housing, and more reason not to travel to Camberley, Guildford or Basingstoke for a night out affordable clothing etc.
At this rate I will be shopping in Elphicks for cord trousers and a tweed jacket before anything happens to help our town.

My family would love this development - which has been planned with due consideration - take place. Currently the area of town it takes place in is basically a wasteland. It's unusable in many ways and unattractive. Farnham is growing and this would keep money through spending and jobs in the town and therefore keep the town vibrant.

I've been living in Farnham for 6 years now and I always felt like Farnham needed something like this. It is such a pretty and good town but it is also very boring.
