Farnham need homes, jobs & a future for our children. Maybe ALL the people in the area should vote on this not just those that have money & don't need to work hard.

I strongly object to the delays in the Farnham East street redevelopment. It is completely undemocratic that such a small minority can deny the majority what the town has needed for so long.

Fed up of FIG claiming to speak on our behalf. I've been in Farnham 18 years and this seems to have been rumbling on all that time. It seems easier to have built an Olympic Park. In the meantime, I've ended up spending my money elsewhere instead of the town I live in - Aldershot for cinema and affordable eating out, Guildford for useful, affordable shopping - but I would much rather spend it on the town I live. I'm not sure what kind of town FIG want - possibly they don't care as long as they're controlling it in this way. I see a town in decline and it makes me sad.

As a film production student at UCA Farnham, a cinema in Farnham is vital for us. We can't keep travelling to Guilford and Aldershot to see films.

I support the redevelopment of East farnham and the so called 'Farnham Interest Group' does not represent me. I live at 37 Weybank Close GU9 7UF which is right next to the development area.

The cinema was demolished when I was about 11 years old. For decades the area has looked like a bomb site. Sadly the theatre has fallen into complete disrepair but let's make something good out of this. Give our children a new cinema, there's little enough for them currently in Farnham. The plans are sensitively designed and will make us proud of our town again!
