From the moment I joined Rutgers at 2014 and the TA/GA salary is the same, however, life expenses increase, e.g. on campus housing rent increases every year.

I strongly support this petition. I am a TA and helped negotiate this provision during negotiations for the last collective bargaining agreement. It has been implemented incorrectly and fails to represent both the letter and spirit of the contract. We chose to accept the PDF in lieu of annual salary increases and are receiving neither.

A Gaurav indicated, TA/GA salary needs to be inflation adjusted. The last salary update was in 2013 and it's not just fair.

Had to cancel presenting at Society for Neuroscience 2015 due to not receiving PDF funds. That year, some "professional development" funds went to ongoing animal research and dog sitters.

This is so necessary. The ranking process is unfair and prone to bias.
