The neighborhood is fully of crime and rampant drug use already with mentally ill wandering all hours of the day and night. Our Bldg 350 Church St had the main door ripped off it’s hinges in recent weeks for theft. Enough is enough Mayor Breed! Safety comes in many forms and that’s not only protection from COVID-19, but protection against ongoing crimes too that this proposed solution will perpetuate! What about tax paying residents safety?

I no longer feel safe in my own neighborhood, and don't like taking walks anymore especially alone. I am STRONGLY opposed to Everett Middle School encampment. Mayor Breed / Supervisor Mandelman are prioritizing the homeless over us residents who pay a LOT of money to live here.

I already feel unsafe in our neighborhood, and this will only make things worse. Please fix the problem instead of encouraging more & more & more & more & more homeless folks into our neighborhood.

I totally agree with this petition. Everett Middle School is simply not suited for the proposed use.

The encampment plan is an unmitigated disaster. Human feces, overdosing users, and dirty needles have are now more common than families on our sidewalks. Not only are Mayor Breed / Supervisor Mandelman putting more lives (both housed an unhoused) in danger, but they are so without any transparency or apparent plan. The lack of thought, communication, and common sense on the part of our city government is truly shocking.

The homeless encampment at 16th and Market was crowded with needles, old clothes, bicycle parts, trash, and forced the library across the street to change their grassy area to concrete and rocks because it was being used as a bathroom. The crime and vandalism which will result from this plan is obvious. It will be scary to walk in this neighborhood.

Interesting initiative, but does any appear to have a thorough execution plan.

This is the dumbest location for a dangerous, filthy, and unhealthy homeless encampment...a school for god sake. Stupid. I wonder how SFPD would react if the homeless encampment were vandalized and it's residents constantly harassed like they do to the law abiding citizens of this neighborhood? There needs to be a better solution. This is not it.
