Drag queen story hour teaches kids how to accept others and accept themselves for who they are no matter their gender or sexual orientation or even what they look like, because it's what's on the inside that counts.

Thank you, St. Joe libraries! I wish this existed when I was a kid. The backlash the library has faced only serves to prove the need for this event. Perhaps it will help the ignorant understand that we’re all just people and libraries are for everyone.
