AS i think maybe Don should have said it better i agree with him. maybe more teaching of the poppy should be don in school.

It is a sad day in Canada when Don Cherry who is an ardent patriot of our troops past and present who spoke the truth. We all owe a great debt to the those who sacrificed so much for our beloved freedom Thank You is but a small down payment for all you do. God Bless

Canada is muzzling freedom of speech. The very thing are veterans have fought for and our so-called free thinkers in Ottawa say they are so proud of. Our country is changing and it is scary. Be careful about honest public opinions now, as there may be a price to pay.

Freedom of Speech is one of the reasons why so many of Canada's Sons and Daughters fought battles overseas to overcome the tyranny of Totalitarian Regimes trying to control everything..
What an Absolute Shame that this man gets fired for stating something obvious and bringing it to the General Public's Attention.
The Absolute Least one can do during the Remembrance Day period is to observe a Moment of Silence for the Fallen & wear a Poppy! showing visible support for those who have served and those who fell defending Freedoms
