Neighbors - If you are in support of the development of 2035 East Lehigh as a mixed residential and commercial project, please sign the petition and let Councilman Squilla know. This vacant land sits on what is now an unsightly and troubled border between multiple neighborhoods. A mixed residential and commercial project has been proposed but is being held back by current zoning. This project is a great opportunity to transform this lot into a neighborhood asset. We bought a house a half block away from the site 10+ years ago. We believe development of this northern gateway into the neighborhood is a welcome change!
Please develop this area
This could be a game changer for the area North of Lehigh
Developing Leigh area is great for Philadelphia.
Everything in this plan makes sense. Despite the existing zoning, the site is in a residential neighborhood, and the project would be an effective transformation of an under-used lot, into a well used contribution to the neighborhood. Philadelphia, 19125 (Please note that my place is one block away, even though I am accessing the internet from Mexico right now)
As a property owner on Lehigh ave who would see this out of my front windows, I 100% support this. Please do everything you can to get approvals for this development.
This is right across the street form my house and I would love to see this development happen in the near future. It will transform the corner into much better looking space.

I believe this to be a worthy project and one that can kick start the redevelopment of Lehigh Ave which in its present state has many well documented issues including crime , liter , drug encampments and pedestrian safety. This Residential development along with the planned commercial elements of the project would be a very positive change for this location.
