To add to this, it looks like we tree guys will now be dumping at the JeffCo courthouse!

This is absurd. Whoever thinks this is a good idea is completely disconnected from the importance of this yard. Even worse, we're looking at the worst fire season in over a century and a massive pine beetle infestation. This will only slow every dependent tree company down immensely and increase our costs, lowering our capacity to keep JeffCo and surrounding areas safe. Sink tax payer money into mitigation and then rug pull our disposal? How stupid are these people?

EnviroWorks makes it possible to do fire mitigation year-round. The Morrison location is convenient and reasonably priced. Over the past year, I have removed 13 trailer loads of slash from my property. This would have not been possible without the Slash Yard. Please help keep this valuable fire mitigation resource available

Lots of Enviroworks works will shut down wildfire Mitigation in the Conifer – Evergreen area 10 months out of 12. That includes much of the volunteer work that Conifer Rotary is doing on evacuation routes. the county deems this so important that it is paying for the traffic control on these projects. We cannot afford to lose an hour and a half from each volunteer truck, driving all the way down to Golden.

This site is needed for the large trees that Fire Dept and personal chippers cannot handle. Not having this resource may deter people from taking care of trees that need to come down for forest health. Our large trees that had to be cut down for MPB were taken there.

Keep this open. It's an essential component of wildfire mitigation in this dangerously dry environment.

We use this site throughout the year. We live in Bailey and closing the site would force us to travel to the metro area for disposal of slash. Please consider keeping it open!

I, we need Envoirworks! It is convenient and open when Jeffco slash isn't. Jeffco slash is only available Friday Saturday Sunday. The community needs a slash tree site that's open 6 days a week and thats Enviorworks.
